Catherine Meulemans is a Shareholder in the firm's San Francisco office. Her practice focuses on complex commercial and business litigation, real estate and financial institution litigation, employment litigation and appellate work. Her client base covers a broad spectrum and includes real estate professionals, financial institutions, franchises, insurance companies, municipalities and governmental agencies, and companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. She has litigated, tried and settled a wide range of commercial disputes in state and federal courts.
Catherine has handled multi-party commercial disputes, employment claims and investigations, unfair competition claims, real property and construction claims, including foreclosure, receivership, quiet title and mortgage fraud actions, partnership disputes and complex banking issues.
Catherine provides full service to her clients, including investigation of potential claims before they become lawsuits. She has handled high-profile investigations on behalf of governmental agencies and has prepared and argued numerous writs and appeals before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also gives periodic training seminars on harassment in the workplace and has conducted extensive employment investigations on behalf of Fortune 500 clients.
